Ei! It was so cool hanging out with my kapwa tae kwon do jins! Since Sir Victor was out, we might as well spend our time playing...but it's this one day we had time for ourselves having the time of our lives! It's not like any other day, being with my makukulet na classmates in school...this time I was with other tae kwon do jins!
Ha! We were all giving each other toothy smiles as our instructor told us that he won't be there in our next practice! Hehe...I know, I know...naglealeader-leaderan kami. We were so looking forward to that! hehe.
Now that day came. No instructor, no worries and most of all no limitations, just a bunch of tae kwon do novices (about 5-10 year old kids) and us high school jins! We didn't waste our time sitting, of course we had to help the kids memorize the forms in taking the promotional test. After teaching them step by step, we got exhausted. Not because of doing the forms correctly, but executing the forms over and over again. These kids never follow correctly...just because they're kids! And we surely can't expect them to get it even if I do it the 100th time! Now I know why our instructor needed that break. Heehee!
Guess it was our turn to practice our part too. While practicing, there was something dripping in the rooftop. We never minded the drip until we felt the cold wind blew through our gym (because it was an open gym, meaning no walls just grills). We watched the kids play table tennis in their own way, we saw in that direction raindrops. Obviously, lets get to the point that it was raining. Great, now what...I'll be stuck in our gym the whole afternoon, since Sir wasn't around we expected to dismiss the kids early, so that we could play Ragnarok after! Shucks! So much for exciting-plans-ahead! No yaya's or sundo was seen outside to fetch the kids! Now, not only we'll be stuck in the gym but we have too keep the kids inside the gym too! Before, Sir finds out we've been disobeying him.
There we were practicing the kids again with their basic self defense and forms. Finally we decided to be more patient with the kids na talaga. Nag-jack-n-poy kasama ang ibang tae kwon do jins. If who looses gets the makulet at madaldal kid! Bad Luck struck me, and I was about to faint! I'm not up for teaching that kid again..but that kid's really adorable that you really can't resist saying your mean "NO" to him.
Haaay! Natapos kagad! Thank You Lord! But it was still raining! Waaaah! I want to play Ragnarok na! Haaay buhay! Bakit ba ayaw akong paalisin ng ulan?! We had nothing to do. Sir locked the room were the equipement were placed, before we even thought of watching the kids spar...talk about watching kids spar for free, can you say a free funny movie?! We just hummed our fave tunes. Para na nga kaming sirang plaka sa kakakanta ng "Love moves in mysterious ways" e. Shelley took of her jacket and put it on the floor. We all settled our tired bodies on the sahig. Then We started a topic. We laughed about the corniest things that we've done for a guy, confessed our most embarrassing moments in school and the most nakakalokang chika we've heard on TV. Until we all felt the rain slowly stopped pouring.
Oooh, happiness was all over the gym! Gosh! Not only the kids' sundo has arrived but we had the chance to breakaway from our little-kulungan. Haay thank GOD! Now I know that, it wasn't a boring moment after all. It's just like I'm in a mansion living with other tae kwon do jins! Now I treat that gym as one of my houses, where I'd like to spend another rainy day moment with my TKWND pals! ^_^
